Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 5:55PM jab_connectTransforms: A very simple command for quickly connecting all the transform related attributes of the first selected object to all successively selected objects.
Workflow: I like organizing rigs in a way where geometry, controls, rig elements, etc are seperated in the hierarchy. This tool makes transferring transform information from one hierarchy to another very simple.
Usage:
- install the script in your maya script directory.
- select your source transform.
- add all your target transforms to the selection.
- Run the command jab_connectTransforms.
